A hallmark of a professional is the willingness to be peer reviewed and to peer review the work of others. Peer reviews can be of particular value when building code provisions are inappropriate when applied to unique projects. We have shared our technical expertise reviewing the work of other engineers and architects on projects ranging from tenant improvements to the seismically isolated roof of a football stadium. Since our work has also been peer reviewed, we understand how to develop constructive relationships with design teams that permit creativity while promoting technical excellence.

Plan checks help ensure that designs conform to the applicable building code. We have performed plan checks for government agencies, municipalities, and public institutions. Consistent with our collaborative approach as peer reviewers, we work diligently to clearly communicate deviations from the building code and confirm that they have been corrected.
