As our understanding of the physicial work evolves, the profession identifies gaps in structural engineering knowledge and deficiencies in building codes. We have been involved in research projects to better understand and improve structural performance. Some of his work has been as a member of research advisory panels, where we lend our expertise to help ensure a project produces actionable results. Coupled with our 40 years of design experience, we apply this knowledge to improve the next generation of building standards through involvement on national technical committees. We also apply our expertise to assist commercial enterprises obtain product approvals through evaluation service reports.
